This Friday, OSU and NextGen James Ambassadors Society will fill the Yard of Easton to the brim with mac and cheese enthusiasts. The three-and-a-half-hour event will showcase mac and cheese from local businesses across Columbus while supporting a great cause. The chefs may serve their signature dish from the restaurant or experiment with something new! From spicy to savory and everything in between, you can sample Mac and Cheese to your heart’s delight for thirty dollars (ten for kids!).

Come hungry and dress comfortably to taste all kinds of yummy comfort food, listen to live music, and experience various forms of entertainment! For kids, there will be multiple games, face painting, a characturist, and a photo booth. If you somehow tire of eating delicious carbs, grab a beer and watch the mac and cheese eating contest or peruse the tent full of cheeses available for purchase. The proceeds from the event go to research and programming for the Adolescent and Young Adult cancer program at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Over the last seven years, they have raised $411,000 for their cause and hope to hit the 500,000 dollar mark soon! I have attended in the past and tasted so much delicious mac and cheese, and we plan to attend again this year!
