Glow Putt Mini Golf

After waking up to a gloomy, rainy day we sought out a little color this week. Being competitive, we love anything we can keep score on and remembered mention of glow putt.  After a few google searches we settled on the Gahanna Glow Putt Mini Golf just off of Granville St. It may seem inconspicuous from the outside, but once inside you are bathed in splashes of neon. It was quite a feat  that they managed to fit eighteen holes in this building! Even with the full course, the holes didn’t feel too crammed.  Although, if going with a group it may be a different case. When we arrived it seemed as though there were several families present, however it quickly emptied out. We chose around three on a Sunday to avoid the rush times. The holes were challenging enough to be enjoyable and even though they were built from wood and carpeting, were very similar to true putt putt.  Charging stations kept our golf balls glowing at nearly every hole. With a large group in front of us but an otherwise empty room, we replayed the more challenging holes to hone our putt putt skills.

The end result? I won by two points but Hannah will be challenging me for the title again soon, I’m sure.   We were pleasantly surprised with this neon-tropical golf course, and it wasn’t a bad price for an hour of entertainment that’s down the road!
