We love sharing time with friends, but even better than that is sharing experiences with them.
When Pins Mechanical opened downtown in 2017 they had that same thought. They saw a need for a bowling alley closer to the city, but took it a step farther than your average bowling alley.
Pins features duck pin bowling; an east coast classic game that uses smaller pins/balls, gives you three throws instead of two, and doesn’t require you to wear those old bowling shoes.
Their website boasts that it is

Aside from bowling they have foosball, bocce ball, skee-ball, giant “beer” pong, ping pong, and multiple pinball machines.
That IS a lot of balls!
We love visiting the Easton location because it is so close and it’s just so big, perfect for parties!
Our favorite spot is the main arcade game area filled with our favoties, nestled beside the larger than life Brite-Lite board that is filled with people’s creations. The bar is complete with craft beers and curated cocktails that are often game-themed as well.
Ascending the stairs brings you to even more bowling, more bars, and more games scattered about. Need to step out for a little air on the patio? You will find even more games like giant jenga or Codycross.
With so much entertainment in one spot, it’s no wonder that they now have eight locations in just five years! Although this may seem like an adult playground, children are welcome anytime before 8pm (when it becomes 21+ only).
As the usual with our finds lately, the weekends are bound to be busy! But if you go on say, a Tuesday night around 7, you can most likely bowl right away with no wait and just a few groups around you!
Date night, family night, or just a casual night out that you want to add a dash of fun to, Pins is a great spot for all ages and events!
